As a result of being associated with golfers and Communities for many years, Scott Richmond Ltd. has established the need for a high quality sanitary washroom to replace the typical "Johnny on the spot" facility so common on golf courses and communities throughout the country.

In 1996 "Scotty Pine Portables" a division of Scott Richmond Ltd. designed and built its first combo washroom, which now can be seen on many golf courses.

A stationary restroom installed anywhere you don’t want the labour and expenses of installing septic beds or sewer lines or portable chemical toilets. The system includes an 800-gallon holding tank and building, ready for your water hook-up.

It is designed in rustic rough-sawn pine finish to complement your course or community centre. We will stain the building to your specifications. The roof is clad with cedar shingles and a vinyl skylight is installed in each washroom.

Interior is finished in a gleaming white PVC plastic-moulded floor and walls, china flush toilet using one litre of water per flush, and a plastic sink with self-close tap to preserve water entering the holding tank. A ventilation system ensures an odour-free washroom.

The water system includes a filter, pressure regulator, a valve for injecting anti-freeze for winterizing, and a hose for washing down the interior of the washrooms.
